The AmeriCorps Seniors Pennsylvania Directors Association met in Harrisburg to educate leaders and stakeholders on the vital importance of senior programming and its impact on communities across the state. This gathering provided an opportunity to highlight how programs: Foster Grandparent, RSVP, and Senior Companion initiatives support vulnerable populations while empowering older adults to serve with purpose. In addition to advocacy efforts, the association hosted a comprehensive week-long training for its members, strengthening leadership, sharing best practices, and reinforcing a unified commitment to advancing high-quality service for seniors throughout Pennsylvania.
