MADE member Jonathan brought Middle-earth to life by recreating Helmโ€™s Deep as a detailed miniature! Using both the Bambu Lab filament printer and Formlabs resin printer, Jonathan combined different 3D printing technologies to bring the iconic fortress from The Lord of the Rings to life - one printed piece at a time.

Thereโ€™s no telling what you can create when you have the tools, technology and imagination to make it happen at MADE.

๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ‘• Making with a mission! MADE maker David is putting his skills to work for a purpose beyond the makerspace. As he prepares for a mission trip to Mexico, David created custom T-shirts to take along and hand out during his trip. Using DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing with the xTool Apparel Printer at MADE, David turned his idea into something tangible he can share with others.

We love seeing our makers use their creativity, skills and access to MADE to make a difference - both here at home and around the world.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ This summer, some of our Art students have been working on something truly meaningful. In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, they have been designing and fabricating a new 9/11 memorial in the MADE makerspace using CNC technology, laser welding, metalworking tools and other advanced fabrication equipment.

The memorial will feature a striking three-panel American flag alongside tribute panels honoring first responders and the everyday people who stepped forward to help in the aftermath of the attacks. The panels symbolize the strength and unity that emerged as communities across the nation came together, while also serving as a powerful tribute to the many lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We look forward to sharing the finished memorial with our community in the weeks ahead!

๐Ÿ‹ Jeff recently put his woodworking skills to work on a meaningful project at MADE. Using our CNC router, Jeff created a custom lemonade stand sign for his father's nursing home.

After routing his design, he moved into the woodshop where he carefully sanded and finished the piece, giving it a polished, professional look.

The lemonade stand will help create opportunities for residents, families and visitors to gather, share conversations and enjoy a refreshing treat together.

๐Ÿ From concept to completion, Michael's custom driving simulator steering wheel is a great example of what's possible at MADE!

Using a combination of our advanced equipment and his own creativity, Michael:
๐Ÿ”ง Fabricated metal components with the xTool MetalFab
๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ 3D printed the grip body, housing and custom gear shifters
โœ‚๏ธ Laser cut the suede, then hand-stitched it to the grip
๐ŸŽจ UV printed the custom emblem for a polished finishing touch

This project brought together metal fabrication, 3D printing, laser cutting and UV printing - all in one build. Whether you're prototyping, customizing a passion project or bringing an idea to life, MADE provides the tools to make it happen.

๐Ÿพ Morgan of Honey Stone co. has been using our MADE makerspace to create thoughtfully designed dog collars and leashes that are built to look beautiful, stand up to everyday adventures and become part of your favorite memories with your pup.

Using our new 135-watt OMTech Pro large-format laser, Morgan laser engraves unique patterns onto each collar and leash, then engraves her logo onto brass and steel hardware for a polished finishing touch.

We're proud to support local makers like Morgan as they turn creativity into quality craftsmanship!
