Together, we’re supporting student-athletes as they pursue meaningful futures in health and wellness fields that strengthen our communities.

We love seeing the CITY program off to such a fantastic start! A huge shoutout to our very own Sarah J. Lowry for serving as a mentor again this year and sharing her insight during the Mentor Panel.

The CITY program is off to a great start, and day two concluded with a Mentor Panel where interns could ask questions about this summer’s projects!

This year’s mentors are from the City of YOUngstown, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, OCCHA, Inc., Thrive Mahoning Valley, and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

Thank you to the mentors for sharing your perspectives and time with the CITY interns at yesterday’s panel and the rest of the summer!

Game Changers Leadership and Peer Mentoring Initiative and the Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation are proud to announce a new partnership: the Game Changers Health & Wellness Scholarship [Powered by TMHF].

Together, we’re supporting student-athletes as they pursue meaningful futures in a wide range of health and wellness fields—including sports psychology, art therapy, physical therapy, exercise science, mental health counseling, nutrition, and more.

Game Changers leadership recently worked with eligible students to submit scholarship applications ahead of this year’s June deadline, and we look forward to reviewing applications and announcing award decisions later this summer.

The results are in for the Greater Mahoning Valley LGBTQ Community Needs Assessment! The CFMV team was honored to join lead researcher Andy Snyder and all the amazing people who helped with the community effort over the past two years.

The findings from this assessment will help local our region better serve the LGBT+ community and make the Valley a better, more welcoming place. Take a look at the results at LGBTQOhio.org!
