We're halfway through the year and the Youngstown Skatepark Association still needs volunteers for their 2026 pop-up skatepark events! With events running through November at spots like Wean Park, Lincoln Park, and Borts Field, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Looking for a reason to get moving on Fridays? Walky Talky Then Shop is a free weekly walk happening every Friday at 12:30 PM at the Warren Farmers Market, beginning June 5 through September 25.

Meet at the WFM Information Tent for a 20-minute walk, then shop the market. Participants receive $5 in gift tokens. Find us at North Park Commons, 347 North Park Ave, Warren!

We had a great time at our first bikeSMART stop in May and we're back! Join us June 13 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library for a free bike safety event for all ages featuring helmet giveaways, bicycle raffles, sticker decorations, education, and more.

We have a new date for our Walk & Bike @ the Market! Join us on June 11 at 305 Wick Ave (outside the Main Branch of the Public Library) at 5:00 PM, stepping off at 5:30 PM.

Choose from a beginner 30-minute ride, a 20-mile advanced ride, or a 1-mile walk through downtown Youngstown, ending at the Downtown Youngstown Night Market. The first 40 participants receive a $10 Night Market certificate.

Bike SMART, ride safe, and have fun! Stop by the Warren Library between 11 AM - 1 PM on Sat., 06/13/2026, for a free bicycle safety and awareness event. In addition to a bike maintenance station, many community organizations will be sharing helpful resources, giveaways, and fun activities to encourage bike safety. Learn to pedal with safety, skills, and smarts!
