May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

Mental health and food access are deeply connected. Research shows that food insecurity can increase stress, anxiety, and depression--and mental health challenges can also make it harder to access consistent and nutritious food. It becomes a cycle that impacts both emotional and physical well-being (Ejiohuo, et. al. 2024).

Supporting mental health means also addressing basic needs like food, stability, and care. Together, we can work toward strengthening both mental health and food security in our community.

Happy National Nurses Day! 🩺❤️‍🩹

Nurses play a vital role in keeping our community healthy, supported, and cared for.

Today is a great reminder to check in on your own well-being too, starting with what's on your plate. Eating fresh, healthy food is one small step toward a stronger, healthier you.
