Who knew this existed?! 🤯

Museums for All is a national program where anyone receiving SNAP benefits can get free or super discounted admission (usually $5 or less!) to more than 1,600 museums across the country.
And it’s not just traditional museums! There are children’s museums, science centers, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and all kinds of places that participate.

There are so many programs and resources out there that people just don’t know about, so we're passing this one along!

Experiences are for everyone ❤️

What an honor to was to be part of the 19th Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton Signature Bike Ride! They ride for a cause -- registration fees support local non-profits, and we were the 2026 recipients! It was a joy to help out and share our mission with this great group of folks ❤️🚴

Sharing this post from Miami Valley Community Action Partnership. Stable housing is foundational to individual, family, and community well-being. As this process moves forward, strong local partnerships will be essential. We're thankful for the partnerships we have across the Dayton region that allow us to Work collaboratively towards improving lives of the most vulnerable in our community!

Federal homelessness funding changes are beginning to draw attention across Ohio and the nation.

The HUD Continuum of Care program is one of the primary federal funding sources that supports local homelessness response systems, including some housing and supportive services connected to MVCAP’s local homelessness response work. This year’s federal funding competition includes significant changes that communities across the country are working to understand.

The full local impact is not yet known. MVCAP is monitoring this closely and staying connected with community partners – including Coalition On Homelessness and Housing in Ohio, which helps lead Continuum of Care efforts in Ohio -- so we can better understand what these changes may mean for the people and families served across our region.

Stable housing is foundational to individual, family, and community well-being. As this process moves forward, strong local partnerships will be essential.
