In Case You Missed It: Last week we were featured on WDTN, celebrating money raised and donated to CityHeart by the Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton Signature Bike Tour. We're overflowing with gratitude for the ways our community invests in our work -- we can compassionately meet the needs of those in crisis in Dayton, because of your generosity ❤️

Help us welcome one of our newest Board Members, Marissa! 👏 ❤️

We're so thrilled to have Marissa join our leadership team, offering her skills and unique perspective from years of legal service in the greater Dayton community.

Marissa shares how joining CityHeart's Board aligns with her passion and faith, saying "CityHeart is a fantastic example of an organization carrying out the Christ-like mission to serve those in our community who need help meeting basic needs. Sometimes showing God’s love means sharing conversation over a hot cup of coffee and a donut, helping a family pay an unexpected utility bill, or providing a bus pass for someone to get to an important doctor’s appointment. CityHeart puts “love one another” into action and I am thrilled to use what skills and connections I have to be part of that mission and help it grow over the coming years"

A huge thank you to everyone at The Christ Foundation for your recent grant supporting our work in direct, emergency crisis-intervention services and stabilization programs for the people who need it most in Dayton & Montgomery County.

The specific programmatic use of the grant funds spans our five core program services:
🏘️Emergency Rental Assistance
💡Utilities Assistance
👥Support for Long-Term Solutions
🚎Public Transportation Assistance
🤗Hospitality Support

The services we provide, and the lives that are changed, wouldn't be possible without generous support from grants like this!
