To our friends and supporters... as we head into the Independence Day weekend, Leslie and I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your friendship and support. The work we do relies heavily on you and we appreciate you all so much!

America’s 250th birthday makes this year especially meaningful as we reflect on our Nation’s history, the freedoms we enjoy, and the people who have sacrificed so much to protect them. Please enjoy the upcoming three-day weekend. Spend time with family and friends, celebrate this monumental milestone, and be safe.

Most Importantly... as you plan your celebrations, or for those celebrations of others in your area, please also be sensitive to pets and wildlife. Loud fireworks cause many animals to become frightened or disoriented, so we encourage you to keep your pets secured indoors, double-check that their ID tags are up to date, and be mindful of wild birds and local wildlife when choosing where to light off fireworks.
