Good evening, followers. We met our $200 match! 🤍🐾

First, I want to thank Caroline for coming through with $200. Our anonymous donor will now give another $200, bringing the match to $400 for Greta, Box, and Phoenix. That money will help us place a rescue hold and get all three out of the shelter and to safety.

Caroline, a big virtual hug from me and all our kitties. And to our anonymous donor, thank you for making this possible. I needed some good news tonight, and this means so much.

Here’s where the rest of our fundraisers ended tonight.

➡️ Grumpy’s vet bill — We’ve raised $220.00 toward $1,200. Grumpy is gone, and we’re still working to pay for the care he received. Thank you to everyone who gave in his memory. 🌈
➡️ Roco’s $2 Tuesday — We ended the night at $51 raised.
➡️ General vet bill fundraiser — We’ve raised $37 toward our $10,000 goal.
➡️ Laptop raffle — It closes Sunday, November 8, and we still have many spots available. If you’d like one, please see the original raffle post. The proceeds will help bring down our vet bill.

I won’t lie. It’s been a hard week. I’m grateful for every donation and every share, and I’m discouraged by how far we still have to go. I’ve tried every way I can think of to raise funds, and I’m exhausted from coming back here to ask again. I keep hoping someone will see what we do and be in a position to make a gift that helps us get ahead of this bill and keep our doors open.

Right now, the worry is taking a toll on my mental health. I may be back tomorrow, or I may need until Friday or a little longer. I’m going to give myself room to decide.

We posted yesterday asking for help bringing Box, Phoenix, and Greta out of the shelter. Today, they are still waiting. 💔

Box is only 9 months old and has a fractured pelvis. She is frightened, feral, and needs a safe place to continue healing. We want to get her out ASAP and to our veterinarian for an examination and X-rays to determine what care she needs. ❤️‍🩹

Our $500 goal is for all three cats, including getting Box’s medical care started. We are willing to give them a chance, but we need your help to make it happen.

💔🐾 IT’S $2 TUESDAY… CAN YOU SEND ROCO A LITTLE LOVE? 🐾💔

Followers, today I’m sharing Roco’s picture and video because, in the middle of so much worry, this sweet boy gives me a reason to keep going.

Roco is recovering from the terrible wound on his neck. His healing is slow, and he still has a ways to go—but look how far he has come. ❤️‍🩹 His before pictures are heartbreaking and too graphic for this post. Today, I want you to see his progress. See the sweet boy who deserved this chance.

We are so grateful to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital and Dr. Rick for the care that has helped him get here, and to Kathy, his temporary foster, for caring for him while he continues to heal. 🐾❤️

We moved Roco from the hospital into foster care because we simply could not keep up with the daily boarding costs. His bill was growing beyond what we had raised for him. Thankfully, Kathy stepped in to help him continue his recovery.

And when he is fully healed and medically cleared, this loving boy will need a home of his own. 🏡

Our $2 Tuesdays have been painfully quiet. Lately, we barely come close to raising $50. And behind every fundraiser that sits still, there are cats who still need us—and bills we still have to pay.

💔 Box has a fractured pelvis, and her $500 goal has not been met.
💔 Our $10,000 fundraiser has raised only thirty-something dollars.
💔 Our vet balance is approximately $28,000, even after the payments we have worked so hard to make.

I need to speak from my heart: I am exhausted—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I keep trying to find the words, the posts, the fundraisers that will bring in enough help. It is heartbreaking to work this hard and still wonder how we are going to keep going.

I don’t know where this rescue stands right now, and that uncertainty is frightening. I love these cats. I believe in their lives. But I cannot carry all of this alone.

Roco’s healing is what your support makes possible. A wounded cat gets treatment. A frightened cat gets gentle care. A sweet boy gets the chance to heal and, someday, find his family.

💔🌈 Fly away, Grumpy. Fly away, sweet boy. 🕊️🐾

This morning, we lost Grumpy. I have struggled to find the words because my heart is broken.

We were told Grumpy was left behind when his owner moved out—for approximately 20 days without food or water. Someone finally found him and called animal control. He was rescued, and we hoped there was still time to give him the life he deserved.

We hospitalized him. He received supportive care. Today, the plan was to place a feeding tube to help nourish him and give him another chance. But before that could happen, his body gave out. Despite the care he received, we could not save him.

I keep asking myself: Why? Why was he left behind? Why did he have to suffer?

Grumpy deserved food, water, safety, and kindness. He deserved someone who would never walk away and leave him helpless.

Animals are not disposable. They feel hunger, thirst, fear, and pain. They cannot call for help or explain what is happening to them. They depend on us. I hope there is accountability for what happened to him. 💔

Grumpy, I am so sorry. We wanted more time for you. We wanted you to come home. Please know that you mattered, and that we fought for you.🌈💔❤️‍🩹

It hurts to ask for donations while grieving him, but his veterinary expenses remain. The bill shows a balance due of $1,276.89, which we need help paying as we struggle with a veterinary debt already around $28,000.

This is the heartbreaking reality of rescue: even when we lose a life we desperately tried to save, the cost of that care remains.

HERE WE GO THE PLEA IS HERE FOR THE SECOND DAY OF NOVEMBER 🆘🆘🆘

🚨💔 THREE CATS. THREE LIVES. ONE $500 GOAL. 💔🚨

Phoenix, Box, and Greta are sitting in shelter cages, frightened and waiting. We want to bring all three into the safety of Purrrfect Angels—but we need our community’s help to make that possible. 🐾

💔 PHOENIX — Imagine losing the only home you knew because you couldn’t adjust to a new cat. At four years old, Phoenix was surrendered after conflict with the newcomer. Now she is struggling in the shelter, hissing, swatting, and retreating. Yet during an assessment, she approached to sniff a handler before pulling away. There is a little spark of curiosity beneath that fear. She needs patience, time, and the chance to feel safe again.

💔 BOX — Only nine months old, this little girl has a fractured pelvis. She is feral and cannot currently be handled safely, making her care more challenging—but we are willing to try. The shelter reports that her fracture is stable, she can use the bathroom, and she is receiving cage rest. We want to get her to our veterinarian for an examination and X-rays to determine whether continued cage rest will be enough or whether she needs more treatment.

Being fearful should never mean being forgotten. She deserves a chance to heal. ❤️‍🩹

💔 GRETA — Just over a year old, Greta was returned after she struggled to adjust in her adoptive home. Her adopter then adopted a kitten. Now Greta is back in a cage, hiding and avoiding people. Looking at her frightened face is heartbreaking. She needs somewhere quiet to decompress and someone willing to give her time.

Our goal is $500 TOTAL to help bring these three cats into safety and begin their care, including Box’s veterinary evaluation and X-rays. We do not yet know whether Phoenix or Greta have medical needs.

With our existing veterinary balance, we need support before we can take on more lives. I am ready to try for these girls, but I cannot do it alone.

🧡🐾 ANGEL BABY — A SENIOR GIRL WHO DESERVES A FIGHTING CHANCE 🐾🧡

Remember Angel Baby? We rescued this urgent senior on October 5. Today marks 26 days since she got her second chance. Without rescue, she would have been euthanized. 💔

Estimated to be around 12 years old, this sweet orange girl is being treated for FIP while also battling severe stomatitis, dental disease, and kidney issues. She is terribly thin and has a lot of weight to gain.

After more than a week hospitalized, Angel Baby came home to our sanctuary a few days ago. With our veterinary balance continuing to grow, I’m providing her supportive care here, giving her close, one-on-one attention and watching her carefully. ❤️

She has started her FIP medication, and we’re hopeful. So far, she’s eating, sleeping, resting, and enjoying a soft bed and love. She especially loves her kitten dry food softened with water and her kitten Delectables! 🥹 She’ll return for follow-up labs to help us see how she’s responding to treatment.
