“We estimate that (universal healthcare) would reduce national health expenditure by $1,041 billion annually.

Sources of savings include reductions in administrative overhead, pharmaceutical prices, fraudulent billing, and avoidable emergency care. Combined with the reversal of recent retractions, universal
