Take me out to the ball game… ⚾️🎶

Last night, we had an incredible time at Riverfront Federal Credit Union VIP Night at the Reading Fightin Phils! As this quarter’s community partner, the IM ABLE Foundation was proud to have a table at the stadium thanks to Riverfront - connecting with fans, sharing our mission, and spreading awareness about creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

AND the highlight of the night…

Our very own Ali Dipiazza threw out the ceremonial first pitch! 👏What an unforgettable moment and such an awesome representation of what inclusion in sports is all about.

Thanks Riverfront FCU and the Reading Fightin Phils for an amazing evening at the ballpark!

Meet Kathleen Rohrbaugh!

A conversation with IM ABLE Foundation CEO, Alex A. Pilkington, at a networking meeting was all it took for Kathleen to know she wanted to get involved with the IM ABLE Foundation. Drawn to Alex’s leadership and the organization’s mission, she joined the board with excitement and purpose in 2026.

For Kathleen, the mission feels personal. Her mother was legally blind for much of her adult life, and Kathleen saw firsthand how important support, community, and adaptive opportunities can be.

Kathleen brings a strategic marketing and communications background and is already helping shape awareness-building efforts alongside the IM ABLE marketing team through a year-long communications initiative. She’s passionate about helping more people discover the life-changing work happening at IM ABLE and supporting the organization’s vision for continued growth and national recognition.

Please join us in welcoming Kathleen to our Board of Directors!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for their sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering dedication. This Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Devann Murphy continues to inspire us every. single. day. đź’™

From receiving an IM ABLE grant in 2015 to placing first in some of the world’s most prestigious marathons, her journey continues to grow beyond competition.

This week, Devann was invited to Peloton headquarters to help lead important conversations around accessibility and inclusion in fitness. The focus? How assistive technology, including mobility aids, handcycles, wheelchairs, Meta glasses, closed captioning, and more, can positively impact the mental health and overall wellness of people with disabilities.

We’re proud to see Devann continuing to break barriers, elevate voices, and help shape a more inclusive future for the entire fitness industry. 👏

Our dear friend and supporter, Jeff Harmon, recently took the TEDx stage with his powerful talk, Resilience is a Choice.

This past September, Jeff climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in his wheelchair alongside an incredible team of supporters. They proved that resilience, determination, and gratitude can carry us farther than we ever imagined.

We’re so proud to celebrate Jeff and share his inspiring message with our community!
