Rugby is very much a family. We support one another and look to uplift each other when times get tough. We rally around each other to ensure that everyone has what they need. One of the slogans you will always here in rugby is "With you". On the field, it's a way of letting your teammates know that you're there in support. In life, it's a way of letting everyone know you are there for them. We are asking everyone who is able to, to support one of our own.

On Friday morning, one of our players, Kylie Spatz, attempted to take her own life. Her sister, Jules, is also on our team. Kylie is currently at CHOP and while the doctors have done all they can to try and save her life, sadly it would appear that the damage was too great, and the family have begun making arrangements for organ donation.

To help the family during this difficult time, we are asking for donations to help offset expenses and help in any way possible. Thank you for supporting the family. Thank you for supporting our players.

A good start to the Fall 7s season for our Berks Rugby HS Boys!

Plenty of positives from Round 1 and, more importantly, a lot of good stuff to build on. The goal is simple — get better every week, every round.

Back to work and on to the next one!

Football AND rugby? Who knew?

Apparently, Matt Lis did.

A huge congratulations to Berks County Rugby’s Matt Lis on this awesome feature! Matt is proving that you don’t have to choose between being a football player and a rugby player.

Think it’s too late to try rugby? Think again.

Senior. Junior. Sophomore. Freshman. Middle school. It doesn’t matter. Whether you’ve played rugby for years or have never picked up a rugby ball, there’s a place for you at Berks County Rugby.

Can’t play this fall because of football, soccer, another sport, or other commitments? No problem. Our spring rugby season gets underway in January — come out and give it a try.

You might just discover a sport you never knew you’d love.

Congratulations, Matt! Way to represent Exeter, Berks County Rugby, and the sport of rugby. We’re proud of you!
