🎉 NCO Induction Ceremony 🎉

This past Friday, the Wright-Patterson 5/6 Council celebrated our newest NCOs as they officially took another step in their leadership journey! 💪🇺🇸

Becoming an NCO means stepping up to lead, mentor, and develop the next generation of Airmen… and mastering the fine art of saying, “Let me check on that” while figuring out who actually knows the answer. 🙃

This milestone represents a commitment to leadership, accountability, mentorship, and taking care of our Airmen. These newly inducted NCOs are ready to lead by example, make a difference, and carry on the legacy of the world’s greatest Air Force!

Congratulations to all our newly inducted NCOs! Welcome to the club—where the responsibility increases, the questions multiply, and somehow everything becomes your problem! 🤣

🐾 Serving Our Community Beyond the Uniform! 🐾

The Wright-Patterson 5/6 Council Team had the opportunity to give back to our local community by volunteering at the Humane Society of Dayton! ❤️

From lending a helping hand to spending time supporting the animals, our team was proud to dedicate our time and energy to such a great organization and meaningful cause.

Community involvement is about more than just what we do at work—it’s about making a positive impact wherever we can. We’re proud of our team for stepping up, giving back, and representing Wright-Patterson Air Force Base with service, compassion, and teamwork.

A huge thank you to the Humane Society of Dayton for allowing us to support your mission! 🐶🐱

🚨 EXCITING NEWS! 🚨 The Airmen's Attic is officially moving downstairs to the Kittyhawk Commons Auditorium (and yes, it's nice and cool down there! ❄️).
💪 We're looking for some strong volunteers to help us move racks, shelves, and clothes this weekend so we can hit our grand reopening target of June 2nd! 🎯
Here’s the game plan:
🗓️ Saturday, May 23 | 10:00 – 15:00
🗓️ Sunday, May 24 | 10:00 – TBD (depending on Saturday's progress!)
🍕🍩 PERKS: We’re supplying donuts, pizza, and beverages! (Just BYO morning coffee or tea ☕).
👯‍♂️ Feel free to bring a friend (must have base access!).
📍 Where to go: Enter through the Volunteer Door facing the parking lot across from the Bowling Alley (the rest of the building will be closed).
Let’s knock this move out together and have some fun doing it! See you Saturday! ✈️🇺🇸

Today, Team Wright-Patterson 5/6 Council proudly recognized A1C Mayra Sanchez as the 2025 Spencer Stone Annual Leadership Award winner 🏆

From delivering life-changing patient results far ahead of national standards, to leading at a level beyond her rank, to giving back to others through service and resiliency efforts, A1C Sanchez represents the very best of leadership, selflessness, and excellence.

Shoutout to SrA Estrada from the 88 MDG for going above and beyond in 2025! 💪
SrA Estrada organized and led our highest-earning fundraiser of the year, the Santa Meet & Greet, making a huge impact on our base community. Thanks to his hard work and leadership, we were able to donate 50 gift cards to shift workers across the base on Christmas Eve—spreading a little extra holiday cheer to those who keep things running around the clock 🎄✨
In recognition of his dedication and outstanding effort, I was proud to coin SrA Estrada today. Well done and thank you for exemplifying service before self! 🇺🇸
