What’s going on everybody,

The current members of the organization are seeking sponsorships for the Damon S. Bell Memorial Leadership Fund. Their BMOTM week is end of March beginning of April.

I’d like to present a check to them during their closing ceremony where they’ll give out a scholarship to 1-3 current students. If you’re interested in sponsoring and being in attendance to the closing ceremony shoot me a dm/message.

“Lift every voice and sing, till earth and heaven ring…” Today we commemorate Juneteenth, Jubilee Day, Black 4th of July! For over 400 years, Black-Americans have been fighting for equity, equality, and inclusion and on June 19, 1865 the last of our enslaved ancestors in southern Texas learned of the Emancipation Proclamation signed by Abe Lincoln truly declaring no more! Embrace everything in your DNA today that makes you black from the skin to the culture you are the epitome of the future of this nation and all the great things that it’s made up of. ♥️💚🖤

Our statement on the death of : since 2012 our generation of men has seen their lives and their brothers’ lives on a hit list titled “wanted, preferably dead then alive.” Since this organization’s existence we have stood for social and economic injusices we have been in battles with our counterparts to merely exist and be seen more then 5¢ to the quarter of the dollar that our ancestors once were. WE WILL NOT STAND FOR IT. The late great Shirley Chisholm once said “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” Black Men on the Move will now and forever bring their own seat to the table or create their own table and welcome allies in. Now is our time to mourn, we stand with the residents of Minneapolis and their frustration, we condemn the violence but welcome peaceful protests and believe that with all great shifts in social movements comes a strong black man or woman saying something and so we believe in the continuous expression and exhibition of frustration through protests. Good afternoon everyone!!!! We need all BMOTM alumni and current member to come support our scholarship skate night this Friday at Orbit Fun Center. It is the third year since the ressurection of the scholarship in 2017! Since then we have been able to give out 2 at least each year.

Today we awarded two more recipients the Damon S. Bell Memorial Leadership Scholarship, thank you to our donors and members for helping us continuislouly award over the past couple of years.. Since 2017 when we revived the fund we have awarded 6 scholarships!!

Good afternoon everyone, please if you are still a student or know students at Wright State or students who got accepted but aren't quite in yrt… tell them to go vote in the SGA elections! They can vote by logging into WINGS (wings.wright.edu) and voting for the BEST candidates when one wins we all win! Also, BMOTM electiond begin Monday the 18th to Monday the 25th Kev Jones will be running again!
