Boise/Nampa Outreach Update!

Last weekend, volunteers delivered SOAP Project soaps and makeup remover wipes to local hotels throughout the Boise/Nampa area.

During the outreach, hotel managers shared stories of recognizing suspicious situations and taking action. One manager told volunteers about noticing a young woman who seemed out of place and reporting her concerns. She later learned the woman had been brought to the area from Florida.

These conversations remind us why awareness matters. Every outreach helps equip hotel staff with information and resources that may help identify and assist someone in need.

What a great weekend in the Seattle area!

Last weekend, when volunteers gathered for this FIFA World Cup outreach, they were part of something special. When Riana first began planning the outreach, only two people had expressed interest. By outreach day, 24 volunteers showed up ready to help.

The team labeled SOAP Project soaps and makeup remover wipes, then delivered them to local hotels in Bellevue as part of our FIFA World Cup outreach efforts.

The day was such a success that they've already scheduled another outreach later this month to reach additional hotels in the Seattle area.

We're grateful for everyone who gave their time and energy to make this outreach possible. Great job, Seattle!

SOAP Up Boise/Nampa, Idaho!

On Saturday, June 13, volunteers will be reaching hotels throughout the Boise/Nampa area in preparation for the Snake River Stampede, one of the largest rodeos in the nation.

A special thank you to Sheila Vince for bringing The SOAP Project to Idaho and leading this outreach. We're excited to see this new chapter in action and look forward to sharing photos and updates after the event!

This weekend, volunteers in the Denver area distributed SOAP Project outreach materials to local hotels and motels as part of an effort to raise awareness about human trafficking and connect potential victims with resources.

One of the most encouraging reports from the outreach came when volunteers learned that hotel staff recognized a young woman and committed to keeping an eye out for her. Awareness matters. Training matters. Partnerships matter.

This outreach was organized locally by volunteers committed to raising awareness and hope in their community. Their willingness to give up part of their Saturday helped place life-saving information into the hands of hotel staff across the Denver area.
