Yesterday, our Lifeguard Instructors (LGIs) completed an in-service training to ensure high-quality consistency and standardization of all of our American Red Cross training programs.

The training we provide to the Worthington and Greater Columbus community is invaluable, helping to ensure trained responders are always nearby. Ensuring our instructors are top-notch is essential to meeting this goal.

This weekend we honor Barbara Kay, "The Mother of Worthington Swimming" at the Barbara Kay Mini Champs meet. For decades, Mrs. Kay inspired young swimmers with her kind heart, dedication to her community and her famous Hershey's chocolate bar tradition! 🍫

Worthington Swim Club is proud to carry on her tradition of encouragement and sweet rewards! 🏊‍♀️

Every swimmer in the meet this weekend gets a treat when they finish, just like Mrs. Kay would've wanted. Thank you to all our officials, coaches and volunteers making this magic happen! ✨
