Healthcare is a human right. That's why we've been so excited to get involved with Primary Care for All Americans, a national-level campaign working to get primary healthcare to everyone. Please join us at PC4AA's Health Care Renaissance Summit on May 20th. Participants will leave with concrete policy and organizing tools to use in their communities, models for advancing primary care reform across states and communities, and a national network of peers actively building and scaling this work. We had an incredible time at our first Offshore Wind-Power to the People community training yesterday! We networked, we snacked, and most importantly, 23 of us learned about the fossil-fueled climate crisis and how offshore wind energy is an important part of the solution.

We're offering this training series to increase our community's knowledge and advocacy power. We're providing snacks and stipends all to make sure these events are as accessible as possible. We rely on support from the community to keep our programs running, so please consider donating if you can (link in comments).

Woonsocket Pride was never just a flashy event. It began as a protest, and has persisted as a safe, joyous, community-oriented festival for 6 years. And in that spirit, Woonsocket Pride is announcing an exciting new project, something that's been in the work for two years - the Woonsocket Pride Community Assistance Fund!

Starting on May 1st, they're launching a program of need-based, direct cash disbursements to LGBTQ+ folks in Woonsocket disproportionately affected by economic hardship. We’re so excited to be partnering with them, helping to get the fund out to those who need it each month. You can visit woonsocketpride.org/assistance to learn more, request assistance, and contribute to help keep the community assistance fund going.
