Kids in Mexico have the wonderful opportunity to participate in Christ-centered sports practices every Tuesday and Thursday! Girls and boys are currently learning the basics of flag football, led by Coach Diego and others from Living Faith Ministries International.

Sports Ministry Continues 🏈
We continue to have four flag football practices each week, totally free and accessible to the disadvantaged community nearby. These practices are a safe place for kids to have fun, learn, and grow. We always emphasize to the kids that Jesus loves them and they are important to us.

Jungle Medical Mission
Recently we went into the jungle equipped to help very poor people with their medical needs. They have no access to medical care. 25 precious people were prayed for, encouraged, and helped medically. Doctor Gerry and a talented group of volunteers and staff worked so well together to make this clinic happen.

🏈7 weeks of Sports Ministry! 🏈
For seven weeks now, children have been showing up for free flag football practice. What is even more important than experiencing a new sport, is hearing the integrated Bible lessons, life skills, teamwork skills, and that God loves them!

We held very basic computer classes at the CCC. Students with little or no computer experience were fascinated by what they learned! What all our students had in common was running very small businesses, so we introduced spreadsheets. It was such a big hit since it is a great tool to record inventory, sales and other small business needs. They will use their smart phones until they can afford to buy computers.

Bible Story & Snacks!
We went into the jungle to play sports with great kids. However we wanted to share something even more important; to share our love of God and our love of His word with them. Pastor Alan and Coach Diego told the biblical story of David and Goliath and told of the unique skills of the Israelite families in the Old Testament. And of course, no break is complete without a good snack. We also shared juice, fruit, and chips with lots of hot sauce!! 🌶️

Origami Workshop
Stuart, from our recent Alaska Mission Team, shared his passion for origami with our community. He guided us fold by fold to create a dove while telling us the importance of the dove in Noah’s story. Those up for the challenge then took on more advanced folds to create a frog. We had a great time together!

Sports Ministry Missionary Team
Six wonderful people came all the way from Alaska to help with our newly launched Christian Sports Ministry! They assisted Coach Diego at four flag football practices- introducing new drills and scrimmages to our new young athletes. This team modeled good sportsmanship, positive attitude, and brought a ton of energy and the love of Jesus to the game!

Thank you missionary team! And thanks to everyone else that has been providing the much needed support and encouragement to this new ministry!
