Oh, what a night! Our 5th Annual WAA Skills Challenge & All Star Games were the biggest & best yet with well over 650+ attendee's throughout all of our festivities! Our fantastic Treasurer & Photographer, Rich took so many pictures yesterday and we will share a link soon for everyone! Our Woodridge Tigers took on the Lockport Phillies in a double header today, but not without sharing a meal and laughs together in between games with a cookout. This is what community baseball across towns should be all about!

We are officially one month from our annual Skills Challenge & All-Star games on June 13th! Player signups for the Skills Challenge are now open, in addition to signups for Volunteers to assist with the skills challenges, getting dunked, checking in players or handing out food/drinks during the night. We cannot wait to celebrate another successful season of baseball in our community!

As our WAA season kicks off, there is still plenty of time to keep the baseball fun going after our season concludes with the Chicago White Sox as they have chosen Woodridge to host their Kids Can Play Baseball Camp from June 29 - July 2nd at the Orchard Park baseball fields.

The Camp is open to ages 5-12 and will be $165 for four sessions of unforgettable fun and White Sox swag. The link to register will be in the comments of this post or by scanning the QR code, so don't hesitate to get your future Big Leaguer enrolled!

📸 Get your Player ready for their close up as Picture day at the ARC will take place on April 25th. All Managers will communicate what time your team slot is for that day. Teams do not need to be together in order for photos to be taken, so if the 25th cannot work for your Player, a makeup date of 4/28 will occur and we will post more info as to what times will be available as soon as we have them. 📸

The weather refuses to cooperate quite yet, but that didn't stop our Instructional Players from getting some indoor practice time on the turf with their new coaches and teammates!

A big thank you to all of our Coaches for coming out last night to conduct our 2026 Player draft. As a nonprofit organization, all of our Board Members & Coaches do this out of love for this game and we can't thank them enough for taking time out of their busy lives to support all of our Players and share their love of baseball.

If you have registered, please be on the lookout for an email within the next week or two from your Team Manager with your Player's team assignment & schedule for this season.
