🍂📚🎃 BIG WEEK AHEAD WOODLAND FAMILIES!! 📚📢💯

We've got a whole lot of calendar juggling happening this week! 😂 Here's what's going on across our three schools! 👇

📚 BOOK FAIR TIME!
MONDAY: North Fork Elementary & Woodland Middle School book fairs begin!
TUESDAY: Columbia Elementary joins the book fair fun!
📢 We are actively searching for volenteers for the book fair!! If you've got some spare time, we would love your extra set of hands! Link to sign up in the comments 👇

🍎FOOD DRIVE! District wide food drive is going all week! Columbia even has a donut party for the two top donating classes!

⏰ TUESDAY–FRIDAY is EARLY RELEASE FOR ALL THREE SCHOOLS!
Yep, ALL FOUR DAYS! Don't let those early pickup times sneak up on you! 😅

🍎 FALL CONFERENCES!
Early release means time for families and teachers to connect, celebrate student progress, check in on goals, and talk about what's next ❤️

👻 THEME DAY ON FRIDAY!
North Fork is throwing a Harvest Party and Columbia says it's a costume day! Keep it cute and not scary/gory and make sure those costumes don't interfer with learning and playing (like those pesky inflatables!).. but otherwise it's going to be SO FUN to see what everyone is dressing up as!

📸 MONDAY ~ North Fork Picture Retakes!
One more chance for those school photos! Say cheese, Eagles! 🦅

🎶 MONDAY ~ WMS Fall Choir & Vocal Jazz Concert!
Our talented middle school singers take the stage at 7 PM! Come show them some love! 👏

🎃 AND OF COURSE HALLOWEEN!
Because why not throw a little extra excitement into an already packed week?! 👻
🍬 Local Businesses go downtown to host a town wide trick-or-treat extravaganza on FRIDAY from 2pm-4pm

Busy schedules, big school spirit, and lots of good things happening for Woodland kids! ❤️ Let's have a GREAT week Woodlanders!!🦫🦅💚💛

💡 Curious about where our education dollars go?

Woodland Public Schools recently shared this really informative video walking through the resources available to help our community better understand school funding and how education dollars are being used.

We appreciate the district continuing to make this information accessible and giving families and community members the opportunity to explore the numbers for themselves! ❤️

Whether you've been following the conversations around school funding or are just curious about how it all works, this is worth a watch! 👀

An informed community is an involved community, and we're always here for more of that! 🙌

💡 GOT IDEAS? WE WANNA HEAR 'EM! 🎉 Fun school events? New fundraising ideas? Ways to bring our Woodland families and schools together? LET'S TALK ABOUT IT! 🙌 We're getting together for a PTSA working session, and we're inviting EVERYONE to come brainstorm with us! And we mean eeeeeeeveryone!!!! Parents, grandparents, teachers, staff, students, community members... you don't have to be a PTSA member, and you definitely don't have to volunteer for anything 😂

We're just looking for people with ideas, creativity, and a little enthusiasm for making good things happen for Woodland kids! ❤️ Come throw some ideas around, share what you'd love to see, or just listen in. No big commitments, no pressure... just our community coming together to make school a little more awesome. Good things start with good ideas. And yours might be the next one! 💡❤️
