Did you know the dogs in our program have rank? Once a K9K dog passes our service dog test, they transition from enlisted to officer. That means when you see a K9K dog, you can tell exactly where the team is in our program.

Q: How does K9 Kavalry’s personalized service-dog training reduce PTSD triggers for veterans?
A: K9 Kavalry trains each dog to respond their handler's needs both at home and in public. The team develops a foundation grounding them in a central behavior profile, together. Once the team is in sync, the dog becomes more than an ally. They become a radar, a mirror, a sentry, capable of interrupting panic, providing real-time support, and a calm presence in public. Training is tailored to each veteran’s needs and delivered free to Disabled Veterans across the United States.
