Our recent Jobs for Life Business Panel Night gave participants the chance to hear directly from local business leaders about what employers are looking for, how to stand out in the workplace, and the habits that lead to long-term success.

The evening concluded with mock interviews, providing hands-on experience and valuable feedback to help participants sharpen their interviewing skills and prepare for future employment opportunities.

A huge thank you to our panelists and volunteers who invested their time, wisdom, and encouragement into our participants. Together, we’re helping individuals take meaningful steps toward sustainable employment and a brighter future.

Just wanted to share the newest update from The City of Winter Haven, FL regarding this week's Juneteenth celebration!

Celebrating Juneteenth with us Saturday? Here is what to know before you go.

Join us from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the brand new Winter Haven Recreation and Cultural Center for live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, family activities, recreation, history and more.

A large crowd is expected. Guests who are able are asked to park at Reuben Williams Sports Complex, 1751 7th Street NE, and ride the free City shuttle to the celebration. Shuttles will run throughout the event.

Using the shuttle helps keep the limited parking at the Recreation and Cultural Center available for guests who need accessible and ADA parking.

An update on the Community Kitchen from Bree and Brian!

Another week, another blessing as we saw new faces, familiar community members, and heard word about the wonderful meals and fellowship are spreading. We welcomed new volunteers who had reached out to us, and were connected with a youth group organization that attended the church service. What a beautiful way the Holy Spirit moves in the hearts of the servants of Christ!

We invite you to attend Sunday's service at 11:00am (Living Word of Faith Assembly- 122 Ave Q NW in Winter Haven), and/or to join us for a delicious meal created with love (by Brian!), and prepared and served with heart by all our volunteers afterward from 1-2pm.
