We are a small community and meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at , The Way Baptist Church on Avenue M on 33 Street The meeting begins at 7pm and is over by 8:00 PM
Come early to sign in. We do project's with the kid's and try and get them involved at a young age to let them see what is going on in today's times. We have movies at the Park,Easter Egg hunt and we pick Families to adopted for C
hristmas. We rely on donations so we can do these project's. Some summer projects depending on our donations. Our Community has 2 Elem. Schools and 1 middle school. We have 2 parks---Westwood Park----has BBQ grills and covered picnic area with Restroom,exercise walk all and play area for kid's. Lake Blue Park has play area and exercise court. Our population is about 7,000 people. We have over 6 churches and a local meat market. Shopping is less than 2 miles. Our contact information...

Association for Inwood Community
We are a community of over 8,000 people.Currently there are about 45 people that belong to the association. We stay active with the Polk County Sheriff's to keep our community as safe as possible. We do summer projects with the kids to try and keep them busy and have fun.they have to do community service with us and in return we take them on fishing,swimming,bowling,and football games . I have applied for Grant money over the past 3 years and received $20,000 to improve our community.We have a Beautiful Park at Ave.J and 36th St NW at which 10,000.00 has been put into it.We planted tree's and shrubs,put benches around the exercise walkway for people to sit and enjoy.We have covered picnic areas with small grills to cook on,chess and checker board tables to play on.Community members try and keep check on it so we have a nice place to go and meet others and it is close to home.One couple open and close the park 365 days a year and trust me some people that visit this park are very rude to them and they are volunteering their time.
