Good News: Today Romanian prosecutors officially indicted Andrew Tate for trafficking minors, money laundering, s*x with a minor and witness tampering and his brother Tristan for complicity 👏🏼

DIICOT said one of Andrew Tate’s victims was 15 when he seduced her in Britain in 2012, before moving her to Bucharest and using physical violence and mental intimidation to s*xually exploit her by forcing her to produce pornographic content for social media sites.

Tristan was an accessory, the unit said, using physical aggression to coerce the victim. Prosecutors said the brothers kept $1.25 million, roughly 80%, of all her earnings.

The brothers tried to launder the funds by buying four luxury cars, they added.

The Tates can be tried in absentia in Romania, but the trial will not start immediately. Under Romanian law, the indictment gets sent to a preliminary court chamber, where a judge will inspect the case files to ensure legality.

Anyone that has watched the Netfix Docuseries on Mica Francis: Death of a Pastors Wife, may then recognize on this map in South Carolina Regina Ward (Mica's Lawyer) and her family have been working on getting SB 702 passed in legislation. Mica's Law is proposed South Carolina legislative bill designed to criminalize coercive control and expand the state's legal definition of domestic violence to include emotional, psychological, and financial abuse.
Every state should be trying to get the same Coercive Control Bills passed to further legally protect victims of domestic violence.

Some states already explicitly recognize coercive control in certain domestic-violence, protection-order or family-court laws. Coercive control does not suddenly become less dangerous when you cross a state line.

According to a release by Public Information Officer Sergeant J. Johnson, the North Platte Police Department was first notified on Aug. 4 that the FBI had served a search warrant at Deal’s residence. At that time, Deal was immediately placed on administrative leave.

Because the federal criminal complaint and search warrant were sealed, the department was not provided with specific details regarding the allegations. On Monday the FBI informed the department that a federal warrant had been issued and Deal was arrested. He resigned shortly thereafter.

The federal criminal complaint was unsealed on Tuesday afternoon, allowing the department to review the specific allegations for the first time.

During the search of Deal’s home on Aug. 4, investigators seized a computer, an iPad and an iPhone. A digital forensics search of the devices uncovered a history of accessing at least 48 encrypted TOR network addresses containing child s*x abuse materials, along with 13 additional sites that had already been shut down. Ultimately, investigators found 82 files of child s*x abuse materials on the seized devices.

A former North Platte police investigator who worked internet crimes against children cases has resigned following his arrest on federal charges of possessing child s*x abuse materials.
John Deal, 46, of North Platte, made his initial appearance in federal court on Tuesday.
