The Frederick County Fire & Rescue Explorer Post 154 offers teens ages 14 - 18 the opportunity to learn hands-on practical skills in firefighting and emergency services that will enable them serve the their community. Frederick County Fire and Rescue, and Shenandoah Area Council Boy Scouts of America are pleased to offer this unique opportunity for young men and women to learn about local fire an

d rescue and emergency services response organizations in a controlled, educational, and fun atmosphere. The Explorer Post is not only an opportunity for young adults to learn about firefighting and emergency services as a career, but also allows for future opportunities in volunteerism with one of their local Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies! Activities and trainings will include CPR, First Aid, Personal and Protective Equipment and Gear, Radios, Ropes and Knots, Wild Land Firefighting, and much more!
