Julia Whitworth is from Memphis, Tennessee and spent her summers as a camper and counselor from 2007 to 2014. She is now an artist and entrepreneur, having built her own art business from the ground up.
After rediscovering painting in 2021, Julia quickly gained momentum, selling her first piece within minutes and growing a client base across the country. What began as a creative outlet turned into a thriving business through consistency, reinvestment, and a clear plan.
Inspired by the same connection to nature she experienced at camp, Julia often takes painting trips to fully immerse herself in natural settings, allowing the colors, movement, and energy of the outdoors to shape her work.
Her advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: start before you feel ready, reinvest in your craft, and give yourself time to grow something sustainable.
Today, Julia creates original collections, works with clients nationwide, and hosts monthly art classes from her Memphis studio, all while building a life centered around creativity and family.
