931Cares

Just got asked "Tell me about 931Cares" thought maybe a coupe others would like to hear as well. Warning, might be a long read coming
We took 19 youth to Baton Rouge LA over the summer and worked on a couple housing projects. I get it, the youth like the week away, but for me, the same question came up....Why are we driving 600 miles for mission work, when the need is not isolated to Baton Rouge.

The same needs are in Wi******er TN and the surrounding areas as well. So I came home, and spoke with Jason Woodall about this crazy idea to start something here, in Wi******er. A board was formed (Jason Woodall, John Wine and Randy Foster currently, more to be added soon) and by-laws were created, and 931Cares was born. Then I told Faith Foster Wine about this crazy idea......and yes, we are still married! We will soon become 931Cares, Inc., as soon as the state of Tennessee gets our paper work. A 501c3 is also in the works...but I cant wait. 931Cares can not accept monetary donations until the
501c3 is complete, but that's fine by us. It is important to call out that 931Cares is not tied to any Wi******er church. Although everyone told us that it would be easier if we were, we didn't want to "limit" to a single church. We truly want to create a organization where all can volunteer, no matter where you attend, or even if you don't attend a church. As to the why, there are so many reasons, and everyone has there own. For me its important that Jace (age 😎 and Jonah (age 6) have every opportunity to serve, many Non Profits have age limits, and that is totally understandable. I am determined to find the right opportunities for our children and let them serve (cause we have a awesome group of kids). We have discussed some long term goals and right now they include Food distributive, Ensuring that all have beds, Housing Improvements, Blessing Boxes, and so much more. As soon as all the paperwork is complete and we become 931Cares, Inc. I couldn't wait for the Thanksgiving meal, the thought of persons not having a place for a meal on Thanksgiving was too much for me, so I jumped the gun on that one, but that's ok. I know God truly control's 931Cares, I am just his chosen servant...and thankful to be. Happy to discuss with anyone at anytime, I will even come to your church, Sunday school class, whatever, whenever...
