Tri-Tender participants have spoken, and we're listening.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but we are working on a new route for the biking component of the race; putting bikers on one highway and asking them to cross another, busier U.S. route isn't ideal but allowed us planning flexibility. The near-misses that happened last year are concerning, and y'all's safety is paramount.

To this end, we are working on a new route that will keep riders entirely to the east of U.S. 35/Monticello Street. The views might not be quite as diverse, but it should still be a good route, will still end up at the boat launch for the kayaking portion of the competition, and should improve participant safety significantly.

We can't wait to see y'all on Saturday, 26 September!
