The Pulaski County Public Library recently received a grant for $6,179 through PACE for Gale Courses that offers hundreds of highly interactive, instructor-led courses that users take entirely online. Courses cover topics in the areas of professional development, technology skills, and personal growth. The courses run for six weeks, and new sessions begin every month. Users can take courses whenever and wherever they want – from work, home, school, or elsewhere. All courses include opportunities for students to interact with each other and their instructor. Students who successfully finish a course receive a certificate of completion. A link to Gale Courses is featured on the library’s website. The service is open to Pulaski County Public Library cardholders (currently numbering over 6,500 people) throughout all of Pulaski County.

Francesville-Salem Township Public Library received a grant from PACE, Pulaski Alliance for Community Education, to help support the library's 2024 Summer Reading Program. The funds will enable the library to offer high quality educational events throughout the reading program. New books to be added to the library's collection will also be purchased using the grant funds. The Francesville-Salem Township Public Library prides itself on offering an outstanding summer reading program with well over 100 participants. The PACE grant helps the library reach their goals in aiding young patrons reach their reading goals.
