projectART invites student artists to participate in our annual Holiday ART Bazaar, an opportunity to showcase and sell your work alongside fellow emerging creatives.

Painters, printmakers, ceramicists, photographers, sculptors, fiber artists, and artists working across all mediums are encouraged to apply.

projectART’s annual Holiday ART Bazaar is inviting college and university art students to apply for a featured spot at this festive, community-centered event!

We’re looking for volunteers to help bring our gallery and art programs to life! Whether you enjoy welcoming visitors or working alongside young artists, there’s a place for you at projectART.

Gallery Attendant — Welcome visitors to our gallery, ARTSPACE. Share information about the current exhibition and assist with gallery sales.

Workshop/Class Assistant — Support our lead teachers during art workshops and classes by helping with setup, cleanup, and class activities.

Volunteer requirements: • 18 years of age or older • Background check required

projectART is now accepting applications for projectMENTOR, an opportunity for teen artists to learn, grow, and connect with working artists who serve as creative mentors.

projectMENTOR is a free semester-long mentorship program for students in grades 7–12 across the Greater Texas Hill Country.

Selected student artists will be paired with a professional artist mentor to explore a creative medium, develop original work, and learn more about the professional side of being an artist. The program runs from December 2026 through April 2027 and concludes with the projectMENTOR 2027 exhibition at ARTSPACE, where students will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.

Join us on October 9th for the opening reception of SATURATION.

Participating artists include Matt Rebholz, Olivia Gray, Jonas Criscoe, Hyla Zamora, Shannon Faseler, Jeff Worden, Benjamin H. McVey, Teresa Moralez-Davis and Lydia Shanafelt. Working across a range of visual practices, the artists approach saturation through bold palettes, rich surfaces, dense compositions, and immersion.

Together, the works consider saturation as both a visual condition and a broader social, psychological, cultural and environmental experience. The exhibition asks what happens when intensity reaches a threshold — when fullness becomes excess, when emotion becomes engulfing, and when accumulation begins to shift the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

The opening for Better Together: Youth Art Show was such a special evening. One of our favorite moments each year is bringing together families and community to experience the work of young artists. There’s something especially meaningful about seeing the excitement and pride that comes with viewing your own art on the gallery walls.

Better Together featured selected works from our K–9th grade summer camp attendees. Works spanned textiles, ceramics, stop-motion short-films, mixed-media creations, and much more, reflecting the curiosity and imagination our campers brought with them throughout the summer.

Thank you to everyone who came out to experience Better Together and celebrate these young artists with us. We’re already looking forward to next summer’s camps!

Thanks to generous support from our donors in 2026, projectARTROOM was able to provide a total of $3,000 of art supplies to four Wimberley ISD schools!

Each year, we receive wishlists directly from art teachers, then get to work fundraising to order the supplies. These donations help ensure that every student–no matter the resources–can explore, experiment, and express themselves with the same quality materials that professional artists use.

Since 2020, projectART has contributed over $30,000 to Wimberley ISD schools. Thank you to all of you who continue to support our community. You can join us in summer 2027 to help keep the momentum going!
