Congratulations to Allison Matthews, 4-H Youth Development Agent with N. C. Cooperative Extension - Wilson County Center , on her recent award!. I'd like to take the chance to recognize our judge for the 2026 Wilson County Fair Circuit Show! 📣

Ms. Salem Sifford!!

Salem and her family own and operate Roseview Cattle Farm and Plessed-Rose Dairy in Goldvein, Virginia. Working alongside her sisters and parents, Salem manages both production and show cattle.

Salem represented Virginia on the State 4-H Livestock Judging Team at NAILE in 2021, earning High Individual honors and helped secure the Reserve Champion Team title. Continuing that success collegiately, she competed with the Virginia Tech Livestock Judging Team in 2024, earning multiple individual awards and participating in the inaugural collegiate Top Judge event.

She is a first-year master’s student at Virginia Tech, specializing in beef cattle extension. She also serves as assistant coach for the Virginia 4-H Livestock Judging Team.

We are beyond thrilled to have Salem judge our livestock shows this year!
