Wilson County Young Farmers Association The WCYFA is a group affiliated with the Wilson County Cooperative Extension Service.

The Wilson County Young Farmers Association is an active group of young farmers and agri-businessmen who encourage, promote, and develop farming interest within Wilson County, North Carolina. The Young Farmers became incorporated on January 3, 1977 with Shelton Hinnant elected as the first president of the organization. Since then, many young farmers have gained leadership skills serving as officers with the organization.

Two Wilson County farming operations were recognized at the NC Commodities Conference last week for their success in the NC Corn Yield Contest. Daniel Farms won first place and Gardner Family Farms won second place in the Northern Coastal Plain Dryland Division. Congratulations!
