Great for families and younger kids to enjoy a live performance that is less than an hour, low cost, and perfectly fine if you’re a little wiggly. 😉

Here’s a fun summer opportunity with S2P2 INC. for teens interested in film

Looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Join S2P2 for two weeks of hands on experience in film production and performance with instructors Alex Guyton-Lange and David Winstead. What a week! 🎨🎭🎬🌽✊

We kicked off our first week of Summer Camps with young artists diving into sculpture and painting, celebrated an incredible season of youth theater at the ACT! for Youth Edna Awards, and sent Team Edna on not one, but two theater tours across Eastern North Carolina. We also enjoyed the first Family Film Series night of the summer with the Wilson Warbirds, connected with the community at the Wilson Farmers & Artisan Market, and joined in celebrating at the annual Juneteenth Festival.

From classrooms to stages, ballparks to festivals, it felt like Wilson Arts was everywhere this week!

If you’re looking for us today, you’ll probably find us recharging our creative batteries and catching our breath before another exciting week begins tomorrow.

✨ A Summer Community Musical Update! ✨

As they say, the best-laid plans sometimes take an unexpected turn.

Wilson Arts and Greenfield Fine Arts are excited to announce that this summer's community musical will be Anastasia: The Musical!

While we are pivoting from our previously announced production, we're thrilled for the opportunity to bring this sweeping Broadway favorite to the stage. Filled with unforgettable music, adventure, romance, and mystery, Anastasia offers roles for performers of all ages.

Auditions will be held Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 PM at the Boykin Center.

Performances: July 24-26

CLOSING EARLY

The Wilson Arts Center will be closing at 3 PM on Saturday, June 6 for a private event, BUT don't let that stop you from venturing to Downtown Wilson NC!

There are still quite a few things happening:
