Grab your mahjong crew!

Join the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson for Mahj for a Mission on November 15 from 2–4 PM at the Wilson Woman’s Club! We’re bringing people together for an afternoon of mahjong, friendly competition, and giving back.

Proceeds will support The United Way of Wilson White Flag Shelter, helping make a difference right here in our community.

Tables are $200 for a team of 4, so grab your friends and reserve your spot!

I’m Charley Thompson and I am so excited to serve as this year's Social Chair for the Junior Woman’s Club!

I am an interior designer and the owner of Casa de Thompson. Although I currently live in Raleigh, joining the Junior Woman’s Club was especially meaningful to me because I wanted to become more involved in my hometown and give back to the community that helped shape me into who I am today.

I joined the club as a way to reconnect with my community, form meaningful friendships, and be part of an organization centered around service and bringing people together. As Social Chair, I’m especially excited to blend my passion for entertaining while creating fun and memorable opportunities for our members to connect, as well as with the community. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!

Meet Alex, our Fundraising Chair!

Alex is excited to serve as Fundraising Chair for the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson for another year. She’s grateful to be part of a wonderful group of women who are passionate about giving back and making a difference in our community.

When she’s not working at Chesson Property Management, Alex is usually chasing after her 6-year-old son, Thurston, or spending time with her husband, Riley, their dog, Stevie, and their 9 chickens!

She’s looking forward to another great year filled with fun, friendship, fundraising, and hopefully raising more money than the chickens raise chaos!

Meet Bryson, our Service Chair!

Bryson is excited to serve as Service Chair for the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson for another year. A proud Wilson native, she’s enjoyed being back home and part of such a special group of women who are passionate about giving back and making a difference in our community.

Bryson works in sales for SAS, and loves spending her free time cheering on the NC State Wolfpack and traveling to new places! She is currently planning her July 2027 wedding to her fiancé, Thomas!

She’s looking forward to another amazing year filled with service and making a difference in the community!

Meet our Membership Chair, Chessica!

Chessica Gombatz is a Wilson native who recently returned to the area two years ago.
She is a pediatric nurse turned stay at home mom.

Chessica loves spending time at the beach with her husband and kids, entertaining friends, thrifting for unique antiques, and helping coach her children’s extracurricular activities!

She’s passionate about family, community, and making the most of every day which is why she is excited to be this years membership chair. She is happy to bring together community and fellowship within the club that will, in turn, help the community surrounding them!

Hi! I’m Mary Grace, and I’m so excited to be serving as the Social Media Chair for the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson this year!

This is my 4th year with JWCW, and I honestly can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! I’ve loved getting to meet so many amazing women, make new friends, and be part of an organization that gives back to the community I love.

Outside of JWCW, I’m the Social Media Manager at Next Level Creative right here in downtown Wilson, and I also serve as the Marketing Chair for the NC Whirligig Festival.

When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll probably find me traveling somewhere new, watching the Red Sox or Carolina Hurricanes, at a concert, or hanging out with my friends!

I’ve had so much fun being part of JWCW, and I’d love for more women to come see what we’re all about! If you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved, meet new people, and give back to our community, we’d love to have you!

Meet Paige, our Treasurer!

A Junior Women’s Club member since 2021, Paige has called Wilson home for 16 years and is mom to two boys.

She’s passionate about bringing young women together, creating meaningful connections, and helping women find a sense of belonging and purpose through community and service.
