In Guyana, we helped delivering essential support to remote local communities. Through cargo barrels filled with clothing, shoes, quilts, and Bibles, these practical acts of kindness serve as tangible reminders of God's love and care.

The mission involved picking up a returning missionary who had previously lived in Togiak, Alaska. She had returned to the community with a group to minister for two weeks before flying back to Oregon, where she lives with her husband.

While living in Togiak, her husband suffered a stroke, forcing them to relocate closer to medical facilities. This is a reality for many people living in remote communities across bush Alaska, where access to healthcare is limited.

The missionary Josh Fix flew her to Dillingham so she could catch her Alaska Airlines flight home. Due to the colder temperatures, the aircraft initially struggled to start. However, after some prayer and a little coaxing, the engine finally came to life, allowing the mission to continue.

In remote Alaska, every flight matters. Through God's guidance, Adventist World Aviation continues to serve isolated communities, connecting people and supporting those who dedicate their lives to ministry.

This is how you keep us flying in Alaska and around the world https://flyawa.org/donate/
