☀️ 😎 💦 Soon this pool will be filled with water, ready for summer splash season! 💦

The LaFollette Park wading pool is scheduled to open this Thursday, June 18! It will be open daily from 11 am to 4 pm as long as the air temperature is 72 degrees or warmer.

We had so much fun at Movie Night at the Park on Friday, June 12! Thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and to everyone who came out! 😁

In about 48 hours, we'll be getting the screen set up for our Movie Night at the Park! And we invite you to come out this Friday and join us for this annual neighborhood tradition!

Outdoor games and arts and crafts will start at 6pm. Our snack bar will open then, too! Have some fun enjoying LaFollette Park until the movie starts at dusk (around 8:30).

🎉 School's going to be out very soon, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with an outdoor movie, fun and games, tasty snacks, and time with friends!

🍧 🍬 🍿If you like to eat (and who doesn't?), we'll have plenty of yummy snacks for sale during our Movie Night at the Park on Friday, June 12! You'll be able to enjoy snow cones, popcorn, soda, candy and more!

Or you can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, if you like!

📽 It's time to get your besties together for Movie Night at the Park! 📽

On Friday, June 12, join us for this fun annual event where we show a free, family-friendly movie by lower level of the LaFollette Park pavilion. Bring your own chair or blanket, some food, and non-alcoholic drinks. We will have snacks for sale in case you get a little extra hungry!

Games and crafts will get underway at 6 pm. The movie will start at dusk (around 8:30 for those keeping track!).

And even if it rains, still bring yourself and your besties! We'll move the movie and activities inside so we can still have fun while staying dry.

📽️ Get ready for Movie Night at the Park! 📽️

Our annual movie night will be held on Friday, June 12, at the lower level of the LaFollette Park pavilion.

Starting at 6 pm, we'll have some fun outdoor activities and craft supplies to keep everyone busy until the movie starts at dusk (around 8:30 pm). Bring your own chairs, food and non-alcoholic beverages, but we'll also have snacks for sale. Snack sale proceeds benefit Friends of LaFollette Park.

In case of rain, we'll move the movie and activities inside the pavilion, so you'll still be able to have fun yet stay dry!

🌱 If you're looking for ways to grow a healthier, more lush garden, come to the composting class that will be held this Saturday, May 16, from 10 - 11 am at the LaFollette Park pavilion, Picnic Site #3.

Mitch Kulis, a Friends of LaFollette Park member, has extensive experience with composting and can help you create a productive garden.

This class is held in partnership with West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation & Community Services. Costs are $15 for residents, $23 for non-residents. All materials will be provided. A portion of registration fees will go toward Friends of LaFollette Park.
