Thank you will never be enough
This has been a hard week. I’m less than 2 weeks out from Kitten con and finishing up products for the booth and the launch of our fully re designed booth, and almost finished with one of my presentations. We do a lot of sick kittens, but 7 feral adults, triaging 10 sick kittens who are all deathly ill, ontop of what we were already managing, and throw in a stray dog on that - oooof.
And I’m usually really sh*tty at asking for help. But sometimes when it hits the fan, I’ve had to. And that’s been this week.
But the universe reminds me when I throw my hands up and ask, the universe really, really takes care of these little guys
So thankful for my neighbors who have taken the ferals up and back for snip, released them, and are going to baby sit the feral kids when they’re medically well enough at their farm down the road. With your donations, we have almost covered all of the feral snips, only a hundred or so short which is phenomenal.
Then today, we met Coastal Carolina Kittens and Shelby Cash for a morning adventure of donations that will help keep our feral kids tummies full, and new beds for our other crew, as ours are already wearing our from the excessive washing this year
And this morning we learned another organization is giving us a lovely cage bank that’s small enough to fit in our overflow area, as times like this were running out of space quick.
We have started to receive donations tonight which make UPS and I cry every time, and now we have enough cameras for all of our sick bays to be supervised.
And I flopped down this evening at 9pm for the first time today to open mail, and am sobbing on my couch in gratitude to an incredibly gracious donation from Prue Watters which will allow us to re stock on all of the meds we’re running dangerously low on, and get Wheezie the optometrist consult that he deserves to see if we have to remove his eyes, or if he has any sight.
Thank you will never, ever be enough to each and every one of you who love these kids as much as I do ❤️
