We have the unfortunate news of passing along the death of another member, Aaron Massari, (DV207). Aaron passed away last Saturday morning after a sudden period of declining health. Aaron joined DVR in 2013 when we assumed the former Whitingham Ambulance Services territory and had put in thousands of hours, yes thousands (maybe tens of thousands) of hours during his time with us. Aaron was a tough nut to crack, but once you did, you learned what he was about…..detailed, structured, meticulous and always did the right thing. His love for EMS was unmatched. Everyone loved hearing stories about his Blue and Gold Macaw, Jake. Aaron will be sorely missed and his shoes will be very hard to fill.

In memory of Aaron, his signature goodbye expression…..’Bye Now’.
