Prior to our meeting Tuesday night we had an outstanding meal (thank you Miss Donna) and a presentation on the American Legion Cadet Patrol Academy. Recent grads, Jace Letterman and Phoebe Jones, described their jam packed week at the Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City. Their pride in accomplishment and thankfulness for the opportunity was obvious. Thank you to the Highway Patrol for conducting this amazing program.

American Legion Post 384 in Willow Springs was very pleased to sponsor Jace Letterman to the Cadet Patrol Academy. The academy is an American Legion program conducted at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri. Jace graduated on Friday , June 12th, in Jefferson City. Congratulations to Jace and all other students in attendance. Pictured with Jace is a very proud extended family.

Thanks to all the American Legion members that showed up to our fishing with foster children event. Also, thank you Sarah at Missouri Conservation Department for having everything ready to go for us and Miss Donna for baking all those cookies. Unfortunately, none of the children showed up.

We had a nice turn out today at the cemetery. Thank you to everyone that came out to honor those that died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Our speaker, Tony Buster, and bugler, Logan Mullins, both did a spectacular job.
