Taz received his fairy hair in April while we were at an event ….and if you look close he still has the fairy hair….amazing how long this has lasted with all the brushing that mane gets. Thank you again to Fantasy Flair by ER Fairy Hair. Absolutely love the look!

We want to wish Laker….Lake Drive South…a belated happy birthday!Laker was born on April 29, 2011.
He started out racing….17 starts, 5 wins, 3 places and 4 shows. $116,168 in winnings. When he was done racing, he tried out dressage for a bit, but he was diagnosed with kissing spine so he was retired.
His last owner didn’t have a place close by to board him and needed to find him a safe home that would not ride him. Thats when she found us. Laker took a few hour ride up to us on November 1st and has been showing off for everyone the last 6 months.
We absolutely love having him here, and enjoy watching him when he decides to do his zoomies!
Laker is still young and not quite ready for full retirement so we are working on finding ways to keep that brain working, without affecting his spine, for now it’s ground work…but maybe some more advanced ground training. We thank Amy for trusting us to keep him safe and for continuing to sponsor him. Laker is a lucky boy! Did we mention handsome too!

We have finally been getting some rain. The storm only got worse after this, even the horses wouldn’t leave the barn after they ate, so the stayed in until it passed.
