A beautiful rainbow to end a long but productive day.

Tom with Hoofin it Farriers came out yesterday and trimmed everyone. I can not say enough about Tom. Not only is he so gentle with the horses…even the tough ones ….he is a great person. Knowing I am struggling to keep up while Henry is recovering he offered to help me with anything i needed while he was there. I did ask him to help put the horses back out to save me a few steps.

Pal gave us a hard time with her back feet, which if you know Pal she has come a long way since she came here. She has been off since the 4th of July fireworks that the neighbors set off. She has been getting better but still not there yet.

Jackson has an abscess.

Otherwise every thing else went well.

If you would like to donate towards the trims it would be greatly appreciated. Every bit helps us keep these horses healthy, happy and safe.

I want to send a big thank you out to Travis for coming down for a week to help around the farm while Henry is recovering from knee surgery.
He spent a lot of time mowing and helping with errands. He also helped feed, wash buckets and fill waters. Cleaning around the barn and fixing the mats were very welcome extra tasks.
If anyone has thought of volunteering, now would be a great time. We can use help with all kinds of stuff. From working with the horses, bathing Millie, mowing, cleaning water troughs to helping set up for events and computer work.

We love giving these animals a safe place to spend the last part of their lives, but we can’t do it alone. With your help we can make a difference in many more lives.
