🌊Making waves and raising spirits at Windham Recreation👻!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate spooky season with us during yesterday's Halloween Pool Party! We love bringing our community together for a little fright, a lot of fun, and memories that last long after the decorations have been packed away.

Special thank you to Windham Prevention for providing creative activities + educational materials to attending youth, and to students for the volunteer power 💙

If you joined us last night, let us know what you thought in the comments! 🎃

🎃 Halloween at Lauter Park needs its very own photo album…but until then, here’s a sneak peek at all the fun that was had! 👻

🧌 It’s safe to say that all of the ghosts, goblins, pickles, & princesses in attendance were able to collect all 8 scattered moon beams…successfully restoring the Halloween Moon 🌕

✨ Huge thank you to LINKED, Eastern Volunteers, Windham Prevention, and our Fire and Police Departments for helping make the night a special one to remember.

Help us save the Halloween Moon!

On Tuesday, October 20th, community members of all ages will have a special opportunity to partake in a one-of-a-kind mission. By journeying through some of the spookiest corners of Lauter Park, collecting 8 magical moonbeams (with clues and candy!) along the way, participants will band together to restore the Halloween Moon before time runs out.

If you're up for the challenge, we hope you'll join us on this special, spooky rescue mission! Costumes are encouraged and food is provided...just bring your bravery, adventurous spirit, and a bucket of sorts to collect the treasures found along the way.
