The Wilkes-Barre City PBA would like to extend our sincere thanks to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Chiropractic and NEPA Stretchworx for their support of our Officer Wellness Initiative.

Through their generosity, our officers were able to step away from the road for a bit and receive excellent care and services. Many of our officers also took advantage of these services on their own time, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. Their staff was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire experience.

We truly appreciate their commitment to first responder wellness and look forward to continuing this partnership in the future. We’ll definitely be visiting their location on Route 315 in Plains!

Thank you again for your support!

📚Read Across America Week 📚

Throughout the week, officers had the opportunity to visit local schools to celebrate Read Across America Week. Officers spent time reading with students, bringing goodies, making crafts, and talking with students about safety in fun and age appropriate ways. It was a great week filled with stories, creativity, and lots of smiles.

As Dr. Seuss said, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Thank you to the schools, teachers, and students who welcomed us into their classrooms and made the week so special.
