So what is the saying when it rains it pours it has been a tough 3 to 4 weeks. We had to put to sleep a dog that had non-operable cancer. We have one in surgery today for a bladder stone and we now have this little girl who is old, but we don’t know how old who apparently aspirated and we are now waiting to be seen. This is Dolly, a seven year-old Pug. As many of you know our Rescue originated in California. A couple of years ago we had made a decision to change and move across country to Florida at that time we had approximately 30 dogs within Rescue and in 60 days we found 25 great homes the remaining Dogs well they came with us we did not give up on them, but instead loaded our vehicles and brought them with us. and we decided we would become their sanctuary. We did not and have not given up on them however they still do need Care so we are asking you to please help with donations to help cover Dolly’s surgery. We found out today that she is in need of surgery to remove a very large bladder stone. This is something that she cannot pass on her own not even with medication. Rue was just 9 yrs old. She was thought to be about 2 when we rescued her from Moreno Valley and part of a hoarding case. She came to use with four siblings. She went to a couple of adoption events, but when I heard a few comments like wanting to exploit her, I brought her home and she just never left. Today we had to make a hard choice for us as humans and that was to let her go Her tumor opened up and we could tell she was in pain so we called the vet to have her examined and to be sure that we were doing the right thing. Rue will be missed not forgotten. I know once you cross that rainbow Ridge everybody was waiting for her and she’s doing handstands right now. We love you Rue #
