On June 8th, the Royal Court was honored to partner with the Slovak American Society of Washington, DC for a special virtual presentation highlighting the Miss Czech Slovak U.S. Pageant.

Miss Czech-Slovak US 2025-2026 Madelyn Karstedt, Miss Czech-Slovak US 2025-2026 1st Runner-Up Isabel Sherman and Miss Czech-Slovak US 2025-2026 2nd Runner-Up Megan Moucha were thrilled to share more about the organization, our mission, and their personal experiences. 💙❤️🤍

It was such a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our heritage, build connections, and inspire others to get involved. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make the event so special!

On June 6th, 2026 Miss Czech-Slovak US Queen 2025-2026
Madelyn Karstedt and Miss Czech-Slovak US 2025-2026 1st Runner-Up Isabel Sherman had the pleasure of attending the Miss Texas Czech Slovak Queen and Youth Royalty Pageant hosted by the Czech Heritage Society of Texas - Bexar County in San Antonio, TX. Isabel was honored to serve as a judge. Madelyn, Isabel and CHS youth helped lead the US, Czech, and Slovak anthems. Madelyn led the Parade of Kroje, and crowned Miss Texas Czech Slovak First Runner Up Anslea Kaluza. Madelyn and Isabel enjoyed a performance by the Czech and Slovak Dancers of CHS and checking out all of the royalty boards.

They would like to congratulate the new Texas Czech Slovak Royal Court - Miss Texas Czech Slovak Little Princess Caroline Campbell, Little Prince Ford Slovak, Junior King Lincoln Holecek, Junior Queen Mabry Sustala, First Runner Up Anslea Kaluza, and Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen 2026-2027 Misty Dvorak. They were also excited to see Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen 2025-2026 Kyla Jupe, Miss Czech Slovak US Queens of 2021-2022, and 2023-2024 Lauren Gerik Castanon and Destiny Hollingsworth, respectively.

Thank you to Bexar County Czech Heritage Society, the Czech Heritage Society of Texas, Kathy Podsednik, and everyone else who worked hard to make this amazing event possible! 👑✨💐

On May 23, 2026, Miss Czech Slovak US Queen 2025–2026 Madelyn Karstedt attended the 60th Annual National Polka Festival in Ennis, Texas.

The day began with the parade through downtown Ennis, followed by introductions at the bandstand alongside Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen Kyla Jupe, Miss Oklahoma Czech-Slovak Royalty Queen Eden Tlapak-Simmons, Miss WestFest Grace Blanton, other Texas Czech Slovak royalty, and visiting dignitaries from Pardubice region Czech Republic. Throughout the day, Madelyn participated in the traditional maypole with musical accompaniment by Pardubická muzika, was introduced at the dance halls, enjoyed performances by the Czech-Slovak dancers of CHS, met National Polka Festival royalty as well as Kelly Rubes, the first ever Miss Texas Czech Queen and First Runner Up at the first National Czech Queen Pageant, listened to wonderful polka bands, and of course spent plenty of time dancing the polka.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organize and make the 60th Annual National Polka Festival such a memorable celebration of Czech heritage, music, culture, and community. Your dedication keeps these traditions alive for future generations. Thank you to Kyle Stuckly of Czech Heritage Society of Texas - Ellis County for being such a gracious host to all attending royalty!
