KS NE Swim League swimmers getting ready for Czech Days parade on Saturday. Fairbury Wavebreakers, Seward Swim Club, Crete Riptide, Beatrice Barracudas, Dolphins Swim Team, York NE, Concordia Hurricanes, and Wilber Ryby! Come have fun with us next summer!

Last meet of the season was held last night at Seward Swim Club the new Seward Wellness Center indoor pool! It was our first summer distance meet. Just to put some #'s in to perspective.

Regular meets our swimmers can swim up to 400-500 yds

At the distance meet these were the yds swam
1- 400 yds
3 - 600 yds
1 - 800 yds
3 - 1100 yds

We had 8 swimmers attend. Ages 9-18
19 individual events
4 relays
1st - 6
2nd - 4
3rd - 7

Congratulations to those that attended and were willing to do something outside the norm!

Another successful meet. This week we traveled to Dolphins Swim Team, York NE for our Champs meet.

There were 7 teams, 292 swimmers competing in 869 individual events!!!

We had 21 swimmers that were able to participate.
There were 60 individual entries
9 relays

The results are as follow
1st place 7
2nd place 3
3rd place 6
4th place 5
5th place 8
6th place 10
7th place 8
8th place 4

I'm proud of everyone and all the effort that they put forward this year.

We do have 1 more meet Tuesday evening in Seward. Our first league distance meet. We will be swimming 200's of all the strokes, 500 in the free, and even 1 brave soul is going to swim the 400IM!!!
