Support Our Schools Committee This committee's sole purpose is to support the VOTE YES campaign for the WUSD M&O Override. Helping the leaders of tomorrow learn to succeed today!

Wickenburg Unified School Dist. #9 needs our support! The children in our community need quality-funded schools to raise productive members of society. WUSD Maintenance & Operations Override Renewal will be on the November 8th, 2022 ballot. PLEASE VOTE YES!

1) This is not a new tax. It is a renewal. It has been in place for 27 years, supporting our teachers & students district wide!
2) The overrid

e compensates for funding shortages from state and federal sources.
3) WUSD uses override funding for teachers and support staff salaries and benefits.

A perfect (but chilly) walk to our neighborhood school this morning! I subbed in preschool this morning Festival Foothills Elementary. Ya’ll, this preschool program with these caring teachers is outstanding. Your Override $$ are hard at work at this school—growing by learning is certainly the priority! The other 1/2 of the day is still to come!

I must post one last time here to say THANK YOU! It takes a village to support our kids, teachers, admin, school, district. Thank you for voting for the Override if you were one of the ones who said YES. If you didn’t, may you find other ways to support our community school. There’s always subbing, supporting fundraisers, delivering motivational treats to the staff, mentoring or reading to kiddos, and more. Stop in and ask the principal how you can help! ❤️🏫🚍📚👩‍🏫👧👦🚸

For 38 years Randy taught & coached in 4 different states. When he retired, he had taught every grade K-12. He’d be the first to tell you that encore classes in school (P.E., art, tech, band, choir, etc.) are sometimes the keys that get a child to school each day; & as they grow up, these are often what keeps them coming. Vote YES to the Override.
