We honor the legacy of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots.

In Remembrance of the Granite Mountain Hotshots

Today, we honor the Granite Mountain Hotshots—the 19 courageous wildland firefighters who gave their lives while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013.

Known as the Yarnell 19, these extraordinary men embodied courage, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to protecting others. Their legacy lives on in every firefighter who answers the call and every community made safer because of their sacrifice.

Today, we pause not only to remember them, but to express our deepest gratitude for their service, their bravery, and the lasting impact they left on Arizona and beyond.

We are also grateful for the wildland firefighters, first responders, and emergency personnel who continue to stand on the front lines, protecting our communities with courage and compassion every day.

Today and always, we remember the Yarnell 19 with honor, gratitude, and respect.
