Last night Whitney Fire assisted Cedar Creek on a structure fire. Although the home was a total loss, nobody was injured.

Today Whitney Fire led a wilderness search and rescue class for local first responders. With face to face instruction followed by a skills portion where participants had to go out and look for hidden people using the tactics taught and what to look for. Thank you to Mount Calm, Steele Creek, Aquilla, Hill County Emergency Management, and Hill County Cert for helping to make this a successful class.
