The Wheaton Lions were honored to welcome leaders from the 100 Club of Illinois at our recent meeting, thanks to fellow Lion Anthony Chereso, CEO of The Inland Real Estate Group and board member of the 100 Club, for making the connection.

We were grateful to hear from CEO Caitlyn Brennan and President Michael Meagher, who shared the powerful mission behind the 100 Club’s work. When a first responder in Illinois falls in the line of duty, the 100 Club provides immediate financial assistance of up to $50,000 to surviving spouses. They also invest in the future of families by offering higher‑education assistance of up to $20,000 per semester for spouses and children.

Beyond financial support, the 100 Club ensures families are connected with trauma‑informed, culturally competent resources during the most difficult moments of their lives.

Their message is a profound reminder: while we can never repay the sacrifices made by our first responders, we can honor their legacy by standing with the families they leave behind. The Wheaton Lions are proud to spotlight and support this vital work.

Honored to welcome Wheaton’s new City Manager, Raymond Munch.

The Wheaton Lions had the privilege of hosting Raymond as he shared his goals and priorities for the City of Wheaton — focusing on strong community and keeping our city moving forward with purpose.

We are grateful for his time, his leadership, and his commitment to serving our residents and community.

The Wheaton Concours Car Show was a huge success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who came out and supported this fantastic community event.

Congratulations to the Wheaton Police Department and the Wheaton Park District for putting together such a well‑run, enjoyable day. The turnout was incredible, the cars were stunning, and the energy in Memorial Park made it clear how much this community shows up when it matters.

The Wheaton Lions Club was proud to be part of it — from greeting visitors to selling 50/50 raffle tickets, we loved every minute of contributing to a cause that benefits Special Olympics Illinois.

Thank you again for your support and for making this event truly special.

Come check out an amazing lineup of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Aston Martins, and more — all while supporting a great cause benefiting Special Olympics Illinois.
