Did you get your tickets yet? 🏔️📚 The reimagined Mountain Stories Literary Festival is coming up on September 25 & 26, presented in partnership with Center for the Arts Evergreen!

Readers, writers, and curious minds are invited to gather in Evergreen for an intimate weekend celebrating books, storytelling, creativity, and connection. Hear directly from our featured authors, join thoughtful conversations, meet the people behind the books, and leave with a personally signed copy (or two!) for your shelf.

Meet MEGAN E FREEMAN!

Make your next meal matter by joining us on Wednesday, September 16, for a Dine & Donate fundraising event at 240 Union in Lakewood!

240 Union is generously donating 25% of all food purchases made that day directly to the Jefferson County Library Foundation! Last year’s event raised over $2,200—let’s see if we can beat that record this year. Gather your friends, bring your appetite, and support literacy in Jeffco one delicious bite at a time. Meet CRISOSTO APACHE!

Crisosto Apache, Colorado’s 11th Poet Laureate (2026–2027), is an award-winning poet, educator, and advocate for Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer communities. A Pushcart Prize nominee and Associate Professor at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Apache is the author of GHOSTWORD and IS(NESS) and a recipient of the Lucas Artists Fellowship.

Hungry yet? JCLF will be participating in a Dine & Donate fundraising event on Wednesday, September 16 at 240 Union in Lakewood.

The Foundation will receive 25% of all food purchased on the date! Last year, our event netted more than $2,200, so put the date on your calendar and come hungry!
