Directions

Since 1972 the Friends have been working to support the Eleanor Buck Wolf Nature Center. Contact the FRIENDS by email only. at the Nature Center.

It may take a day or two for our VOLUNTEERS to get back to you. Contact the Nature Center for program related info. The direction of the Friends is determined by the 15-member Board of Directors who meets monthly to identify the best way to provide support to the Nature Center. The Board works to ensure both the Nature Center’s future and the continued pursuit of Eleanor's Dream. We encourage Friends, and members of the public, to contribute their ideas, skills, and talents to the group by attending the monthly Board meetings held the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Beautiful Fall colors at the Eleanor Buck Wolf Nature Center. The FRIENDS donated these trees as part of the Wethersfield 375 tree planting initiative in 2009-2010. They replaced the old, damaged trees that once lined the path from the former Moeller Home into Mill Woods Park. 15+ years later they are putting on quite a show!!!

At last months Friend's Board meeting, our President Pat Yagmin presented a $1000 scholarship to Haley Williams shown here with her parents. Haley will be attending the University of Vermont majoring in Environmental Sciences.
We also presented a $1000 scholarship to Owen Redfield (who could not attend). Owen is a volunteer at the Nature Center. He will be attending the University of Connecticut majoring in Civil Engineering.
